If you decide to specialise in healthcare management, you will acquire skills in the management of medical facilities, strategic planning and analysis of healthcare systems.

You will learn modern management methods, quality management and be able to make evidence-based decisions. Classes are held in English, so you will not only learn about the specifics of working in the public health sector in a European environment, but you will also be able to complete work placements in European institutions.

Studying public health will give you a solid understanding of health care, epidemiology, economics, health psychology, medical law, management and ethics. This will help you grasp the complex relationship between health and socio-economic factors and the role of the health system in creating healthy lifestyles and building a healthy society.
Your role in prevention and promotion of healthy lifestyles: You'll be playing a big part in promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing diseases, which is really important for improving people's quality of life. Your work will help raise awareness of health issues in society.

The programme emphasises the practical application of your knowledge. You will learn to design, implement and evaluate health programmes, analyse health data and manage projects, preparing you for real-world professional challenges. The courses and group projects on the programme will help you develop the communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills that are essential when working with patients, interdisciplinary teams and building trust in professional relationships.

The programme has been developed in collaboration with practitioners in the medical and administrative fields. We also offer an extensive programme of work placements and internships, both in Poland and abroad, allowing you to gain valuable experience while studying. Our university offers modern teaching facilities and access to specialist library resources.
