During the Gala of Polish Science, which took place on 19 February 2020 in Toruń, laureates received Awards of the Prime Minister and Awards of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. The event was the most important part of the celebration of a new Polish holiday – the Day of Polish Science. Among the laureates was Dr Barbara Muszyńska from the University of Lower Silesia .
138 scientists received awards for significant achievements in science education, implementation and organisation and for their overall scientific accomplishments. Dr Barbara Muszyńska, head of the Language Education School, received the award for significant achievements in education.
