Spinaker

The SPINAKER program, implemented by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), aims to internationalize Polish higher education institutions and research. Its main objectives include:

• Increasing interest in the educational offerings of Polish universities among foreign students and doctoral candidates.
• Enhancing the participation of international students and doctoral candidates in educational programs at Polish universities.
• Expanding the offer of intensive international education programs (IIEP), which can be conducted in stationary, hybrid, or online formats.

Under this program, institutions can apply for funding for projects that must include at least one intensive international education program lasting from 30 to 150 hours of instruction. The program also provides financial support for salaries, travel, and scholarships for participants from abroad.
