What will you learn by choosing this specialization?

You will learn about the area of management competences and the essence of the organization and functioning of tourist facilities. You will learn about revenue management in a hotel. You will learn about professional service of foreign guests in a restaurant. You will gain knowledge about the creation and packaging of tourism-related products, such as medical tourism, cultural tourism, business tourism, culinary tourism, agritourism.

As a result of the development of the tourism market, one of the most important competences has become knowledge of English. In the long term perspective of the development trends of the HoReCa industry and market data, informing about the increase in the number of foreign tourists by 8% year on year, the ability to communicate freely in English is a key condition for obtaining a very attractively paid job.

Why it's worth it?

For years, Poland has been perceived as an interesting market for international hotel chains. As a result, the number of hotel beds increased by 6,000 rooms in 2014–2016. In the near future, new hotel facilities of brands such as Hilton and Marriott are planned to open on the Polish market. All this is related to the annual increase in the number of tourists visiting our country from abroad. Poland is becoming an increasingly attractive place for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation.
