International Business - BA Business and Managment Top-Up with University of Northampton

We offer you a specialization in Management, which we have prepared in cooperation with the University of Northampton. In this specialization, you can get an additional British diploma, which will confirm the high level of knowledge and skills in language and those necessary in modern Management and international business environment.

• If you decide to start your studies in this specialty, you will follow a study program prepared in cooperation with a British University, enhanced with attractive specialty courses.
• You have access to the University of Northampton IT system, and you become a student of a foreign University as well as WSB Merito University Gdańsk
• After obtaining all course credits and defending your diploma project, you will be entitled to receive a diploma from two universities: WSB Merito University Gdańsk and the University of Northampton

Are you a 2nd-year Management major?

• You can change your current major and start the third year of studies in the specialty International Business - BA business and management top-up from the University of Northampton
• After completing the second year of studies in a given field (or even during the second year), the students are required to confirm their language competence or pass a relevant language exam entitling them to study at a British University (the  commonly awarded certificates, such as IELTS or TOEFL, are honoured)
• You will have access to the IT system of the University of Northampton, and you will become a student of a foreign University and WSB Merito University Gdańsk,
• After obtaining all course credits and defending your diploma project, you will be entitled to receive a diploma from two universities: WSB Merito University Gdańsk and the University of Northampton
• Details can be obtained from the Recruitment Office or the Manager of the Specialty.

Further, you choose a major in which you will be able to merge gaining knowledge and practical skills related to the functioning of companies with extended language learning. Studying this specialty will enable you to obtain two diplomas. It will allow you to save time and focus on gaining experience.

In the course of your studies:

• You will learn the principles of international management,
• You will learn specialized vocabulary in the field of finance, management, and marketing,
• You will learn how to plan and implement marketing strategies for activities conducted on an international scale,
• You will learn what it is to negotiate while  taking into consideration cultural distinctions
• You will be able to conduct business negotiations with international  contractors efficiently
