The Minister of Education and Science, pursuant to Article 267 Paragraph 3 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 85, as amended), prepared a list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences, taking into account the draft list developed by the Science Evaluation Commission in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 7 November 2018 on the preparation of lists of publishers of scientific monographs and scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 349).
The introduced changes are threefold. First, they increase the number of points assigned to 96 scientific journals, including increasing the score to 40 points for journals in the field of humanities, social sciences and theology included in the Web of Science or Scopus databases. Secondly, 5 new journals were added to the list. Lastly, the titles of 8 existing journals were corrected.
