In order to make WSB Merito University in Wrocław a friendly place for all students, the university authorities established the Office for Students with Disabilities, which offers a wide range of services to improve the educational process for students with disabilities.
Office for Students with Disabilities:
- Supporting students with disabilities to solve problems related to their studies,
- Purchase and loan of equipment to facilitate learning and functioning at university for students with disabilities,
- Purchase of services to enable students with disabilities to participate fully in their studies,
- Funding an assistant for a person with a disability,
- Accepting applications for scholarships for students with disabilities,
- Monitoring the current needs and problems of students with disabilities,
- Liaising with institutions working for people with disabilities,
- Providing information about the possibilities of obtaining material assistance,
- Organising consultations for students with disabilities during office staff's duty hours,
- Monitoring changes in the law concerning persons with disabilities,
- Organising training for university staff on the functioning of students with disabilities.
